Longleat house
A Hakitec 750 temporary roof with an offset ridge which allowed the roof to pass over the high turrets without substantially increasing the overall height of the roof. The overall dimensions of the roof were 40m long x 22m wide with a clear span of 21 metres. The structure was designed to be mobile which allowed the roof to be moved manually from one end of the building to the other. This saved the customer on the expense of having a the entire house covered, and yet didn't impact on his programme.
