Originally a building (Harbour house) resided next to 60 metres of retaining wall, but when Harbour house required to be demolished to allow further housing development, concern was upheld regarding the integrity of the wall.

TR Services erected a total of 12 RMD slimshor raking shore structures along the length of the retaining wall, with initial structures erected through Harbour house itself.
