A
temporary facade retention structure was required in order
to preserve the existing building facade during a major redevelopment
exercise of the building itself.
Due
to access restrictions, it was necessary to construct the
temporary facade retention inside the building, erecting the
RMD slimshor components through the existing floors.
In
order to resist the potential 50kN plus uplift loads, concrete
kentledge was designed and supplied inside the building, with
the RMD Superslim components secured using load bearing anchors.
