TR Services were contracted to provide temporary RMD Slimshor goalpost props to permit jacking to an existing facade, in order to pre-load the self weight of the facade onto a new permanent steel structure. This permitted existing steel columns supporting the underside of the facade to be removed as part of a major re-development programme.

In order to utilise standard RMD components, a 2.5m long 254x146 UB was used, which explains the need for a standard prop to support the beam overhang.
