A 10 metre high retaining wall
required temporary lateral restraint to enable permanent structural
ties to be installed safely was erected and commisioned by
TR Services.
A concrete thrust pad was cast
into the ground and a 25 metre long tube and fitting structure
was erected using the thrust pad as means to transfer imposed
lateral loads back to ground.
The temporary lateral restraint
structure was designed with access platforms at pre-determined
levels to enable permanent structural work to be carried out
safely.
