TR Services were contracted to provide temporary propping to permit a major column replacement programme to be undertaken. The illustration below shows how 3D graphics were used to illustrate, prior to contract realisation, how a concrete floor slab was to be supported whilst allowing access to the column at the same time. RMD Kwikform Megashor props and beams were utilised to provide the primary support and Megashor props were then installed down through each floor as back propping. The design load through the propping system was 210 tonne.
